Beenstock
Zoe Beenstock is a senior lecturer at the Department of English at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has articles published and forthcoming in European Romantic Review, Journal of the History of Ideas, MLQ, SEL 1500-1900, and Philosophy and Literature. She is the author of The Politics of Romanticism: The Social Contract and Literature (Edinburgh, 2016) and is currently writing a book on Palestine in eighteenth-century British literature, supported by a four-year Israel Science Foundation Grant, and by scholarships for archival research at the Yale Center for British Art, and at the Huntington Library. She is co-organizer of the Haifa Center for Mediterranean History Research Group “Levant Antiquarianism in European History and Literature, 1500-1850.”
